Pilots Evaluation Camp 2008
The Abbotsford Pilots Junior Hockey Club of the PIJHL are extending you an invitation to attend our evaluation camp on Saturday, August 16,and Sunday, August 17, 2008. We would like you to compete to potentially become part of our family and tradition. The main purpose of this camp is to identify and evaluate players we feel have a future with the Pilots.
Our history includes ten first place finishes since 1988-89, the year the Pilots originated in Abbotsford. In 1999-2000, the Pilots were bronze winners at the Western Canadian Keystone Cup in Airdrie, Alberta. In a 48 game schedule, the Pilots have won 33, 32, 31 and a league record 37 wins in the last four seasons while finishing first seven times in the last ten seasons.
The camp will consist of four ice sessions plus a goalie session each day and an All-Star game on Sunday. This camp allows players and parents to become more familiar with our coaching staff and management.
Finally, and probably the most important aspect of this camp are the opportunities for you to: 1. Compare your level of development with other players. 2. Receive feedback on strengths/weaknesses of your game. 3. Learn what it takes to get to the next level of hockey.
We will be inviting the top players from this camp to our main camp starting Monday, August 18, 2008.
